Your website and Business Profile should tell the same story
For a local business, your Google Business Profile is often one of the first places a potential customer sees your name, category, hours, location, photos and reviews. Local SEO works best when those facts are accurate and consistent with the website.
1. Get the core business information right
Use the real business name, accurate contact details, correct hours and the appropriate primary category. Do not add extra keywords to the business name or invent locations you do not actually serve.
2. Complete the services and business description
Describe what the business actually does in natural language. Your services should match the services described on the website so that customers and search engines see a consistent entity.
3. Use real photos and keep them current
Show the real office, team, products, work and customer-facing environment where appropriate. Original images help customers understand the business better than generic stock imagery.
4. Build an authentic review process
Ask genuine customers for honest reviews and respond professionally. Do not buy reviews or script fake experiences. Reviews are part of the customer's decision process, so the quality and authenticity of the feedback matter.
5. Connect local relevance to your website
Your service pages should clearly explain what you offer and where you genuinely operate. Useful local content can answer area-specific questions without creating thin doorway pages for every neighbourhood.
6. Use structured data carefully
Google's LocalBusiness documentation says structured data can communicate details such as business information and recommends that markup accurately represent the page. Validate the markup and make sure the business details are visible and consistent.
7. Measure calls and enquiries, not just map visibility
Local visibility is valuable when it produces actions. Track calls, contact-form submissions, WhatsApp enquiries and other meaningful conversions alongside Search Console and Business Profile insights.
Delhi is a locality-first market
Delhi contains many distinct commercial areas and customer markets. A useful local strategy focuses on the locations you genuinely serve and the services you actually provide, rather than creating a page for every neighbourhood simply to capture a place name.
